About Dr. Shrestha
Dr. Shrestha is the Chair and Associate Professor in the Engineering Department at Sonoma State University. He graduated from Kathmandu University with a Bachelor's degree and a Ph.D. from Louisiana Tech University. He formerly worked at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, and Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), Indiana. His current research interests include biomedical sensors, machine learning, and robotics. He has several patents and more than 35 publications. He is also the founder and director of the SSU Intelligent Systems Lab. He is an IEEE Senior Member.
The SSU Engineering Department offers a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (EE) and a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE). SSU is a California State University campus.
