About Dr. Shrestha
Dr. Shrestha is an associate professor and the chair of the Engineering Department at Sonoma State University. He has a PHD and a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Prior to joining SSU, he was a faculty member at Miami University, OH and Purdue University in Indianapolis. He also has several years of postdoctoral and industry experience. His current research interests include robotics, AI, embedded computing, and biomedical devices. He has seven patents and more than 35 publications. He is the founder and director of the Intelligent Systems Lab at SSU. He is an IEEE Senior Member.
